With 26 private suites, the Lydia Roper Home is far from the traditional assisted living community. Each suite has a personality of its own, just like the ladies who occupy them. Instead of an impersonal cafeteria, three full meals are served daily in a gracious dining room. A morning and evening snack are also available, which provide an opportunity for small social gatherings. On wide porches that grace two of the home's three stories, many delightful hours are spent in conversation or enjoying a favorite book. From its spacious parlor to its carpeted halls, the Lydia Roper Home is filled with warmth and charm. While it is indeed a large house, each part of it quickly becomes a familiar and inviting place to the sisterhood of ladies who call it home.
